How much does installation cost?
  • Absolutely nothing!

Installation is included with the Flathead Farm Starter Kit.

How does it work?
  • Leak Detected
In the event of a leak, the shut-off valve automatically turns off the water supply to the entire home, requiring no homeowner intervention. You, as the homeowner, receive a notification, and water can be remotely restored through the app after verifying the situation.

    Low internal temperature
If the internal home temperature drops to dangerous levels due to factors like an open window or a furnace failure, the water supply is automatically shut off, and you are notified. You then can remotely restore water after confirming the safety of the home.

    Power Outage
In the event of a power outage, the ZoJacks system continues to function normally. Leak sensors are battery powered and the shut-off valve runs on a battery backup. The hub has a backup battery that allows it to run for up to 72 hours. You will be notified when power is restored via the app.

How many sensors do I need?
  • How many high-risk areas do you have?

The needs of each home will vary due to size and appliances. The Flathead Farm Mutual Package comes with 8 sensors, which on average will be allocated to the refrigerator, kitchen sink, dishwasher, laundry machine, master bathroom sink, master bathroom toilet, guest bathroom sink, and guest bathroom toilet. Please note you may need additional sensors if you have multiple vanities, additional laundry rooms, ice makers, or other appliances with or near water. The specific needs of your property will be assessed during installation with your technician, and additional sensors needed will be offered at a discounted rate of $50/sensor.

When monitoring temperature and moisture levels in various areas of a building or home, several locations are particularly critical due to their susceptibility to environmental changes. These high-risk areas require diligent observation to prevent potential problems such as mold growth, structural damage, and other hazards related to excessive moisture and temperature fluctuations.

Utility spaces, such as where HVAC systems or water heaters are located, need constant monitoring as these systems can significantly affect temperature and humidity levels. Basements, especially those with windows, are also crucial points for monitoring. They are prone to dampness and can be affected by external weather conditions, leading to increased moisture levels that require regular checks.

Garages are another key area for temperature and moisture control. Since they often house vehicles, tools, and other storage items, they can experience rapid changes in humidity and temperature, which could affect stored items and the structure of the space itself.

Kitchens and bathrooms are particularly prone to moisture due to activities like cooking and showering. Ensuring proper ventilation and monitoring these areas can prevent the buildup of excessive humidity, a common cause of mold and mildew.

Laundry rooms, with their combination of heat and moisture from washers and dryers, are also critical zones. Monitoring these areas helps maintain a balance in temperature and humidity, safeguarding against moisture-related damage and ensuring a healthy living environment.

When do I see savings on my insurance?
  • Once the system is installed, we’ll send you a certificate that you can forward to your insurance provider. They’ll be made aware that installation has been completed and that you are now able to claim the cost savings.

Stop Leaks, Fast

With ZoJacks, our system is designed with a three-tiered approach. Protect, detect, and react. Our system operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. No internet? No problem. No power? No problem.

Water sensors are battery-operated and always connected to the hub. A leak or temperature drop is detected quickly, triggering a reaction.

The Waterstop turns off the water, stopping any potential issues. The ZoJacks System includes everything you need to ensure your home is protected whether you are out for a few hours, a few days or in the case of a second home gone for an extended period of time.

With the ability to shut off water manually, connected directly to your waterlines, you can rest assured that water issues will be minimal. Premium discounts for water migration devices are available for policyholders after installation.
